My name is Michelle & I am an eighteen year old graphic designer, photographer, & blogger. I have been into the whole design thing for about three or four years now. My very first site was on MySpace. It was a graphic site where I made free banners, layouts, wallpapers, & icons for other MySpace sites. My run on MySpace was a pretty lengthy one; the first graphics site lasted about a year & a half. Then, I decided that I wasn’t really into the social networking anymore & decided to “close” my site. I took about a six-month break before delving back into the graphic design world.

During my time away I began taking photos & learning how to edit them on Paint Shop Pro so they looked “professional.” After awhile of just experimenting I started having my friends model for me & soon enough I was a pretty established photographer in my area by the age of 16.

It wasn’t until late 2007 that I got into blogging, but that was because of the whole Blogger hype that went on. I was curious to find out what exactly it was, but when things started going nowhere, I gave up on it.

Last year my love for graphic design knocked me in the head again. It was like one morning I woke up & just really wanted to do it again. That was when I went back to MySpace & created a fan site for my favorite band at the time, Avenged Sevenfold. The fan site lasted only about six months, but I’m so glad I did it because that was when I learned how to create my own customized page with HTML & CSS.

Now, I’m an expert at HTML, XHTML, XML, PHP, & CSS. Guess you can say it all turned out for the best
